End of the shortest era ever

Post: # 1153600Post White Winmar »

Well the world returned to normal today. Colingwood lost a Grand Final and dashed the hopes of their supporters by not going on to beat the run of the great Collingwood teams of 1927 to 1930. That's some dynasty they've created. I know it's a bit early to be going the crow, but f*ck it, the filthy bogan scum deserve everything they get, and then some more.

It will be interesting to see how the much talked about "coaching transition" goes. Replacing a successful and popular coach with an untried one, who from all reports struggles on the interpersonal front. Yep, I'll sleep well tonight knowing that the universe has restored order. Although it doesn't arrest my pain of 2009-10, it's about as good as the footy can get, other that the saints winning the flag.

AMEN!

6 months without Collingwood hysteria.

As Louis Armstrong sang "What a wonderful world".

I hope Buckley turns into lemon butter instead of the figjam they all expect. Please what ever deity is out there, don't let them make finals next year.

Gee I dunno...

But Collingwood can stick their dynasty up their arse sideways.

Guys,

Its not right to take enjoyment out of other peoples losses...

Surely collingwood supporters would dare do that...

Where are all the filth trolls now? Can't wait for them to come onto the forum with their excuses, whingeing and illiterate drivel.

Yep. They can belt it. Many pies fan treated the whole season as a victory lap with the flag as a formality at years end.

They will still be a good side next year unfortunately.

Unless Buckley turns out to be a complete cabbage as a coach.

Never know your luck in the big city.

I reckon its one hell of a lot harder making the dance again after losing the year previous.

Well, they'd have to be like the Geelong of 2009, wouldn't they?

I don't think this Collingwood side is as talented that team. No way!

The workplace will return to normal on Monday as the cocksure CFC supporters will have been put back in their place and let's hope the CFC starts to implode

I wouldn't get to happy about the end of collingwood ... Fact is they have a youngish side who will come back with a real fire in the belly .. They had too many players today who played below their normal standards .. Remove didak and Maxwell and put in two real deal players and if Harryo would actually play on a man and not look to run off every time they will be in premiership mode again in 2012

This.

I keep repeating this Trav.

Only thing now Mick has walked, basically it's an untried rookie at the reigns.

Still, I think it would of been better for us if they'd won.
