agree with the heart behind the statement of the opening post but not the delivery..
sorry, but football clubs these days live and die by their 'soft fans'. hardcore fans turn up every year (and I would count myself one of them), yet we need to keep attracting newer, perhaps less hardcore fans and give them a reason to stay. the more people we tell to go away, the less likely our clubs financial problems get solved.
our attitude to fellow saints (however committed they may or may not be) plays a part in the growth of our football club.
