Good Riddance Channel 10
Just saw their signing off montage. Out of about 100 clips their were two measley clips of St.Kilda.
10 years of telecasting AFL and the the only memories they can provide us are of Robert Harvey collapsing in despair at Football Park amongst jubilant Port Power players and then the infamous toe poke which ended up a Paul Chapman goal to seal our fate in the 2009 Grand Final.
Call me precious, but that montage would seem to indicate that St.Kilda is a non-entity in Channel 10's eyes.
Great news that they are no longer going to infuriate us with their crap coverages.
I would like to say Good Riddance to the following - Robert Walls, Steven Quartermain, Anthony Hudson, Tim Lane, Luke Darcy, Malcolm Blight, Michael Christian and the tit with glasses who sat alongside him for that 5 Quarters program.
Sayonara! ...and may you all rot in football commentator limbo for rest of eternity

That big girl "TommaHawk" getting a goal when it hit the post a couple of years ago was rather frustrating.Sainternist wrote:BushDave wrote:And the end of that ridiculously stupid 5 minute warning. The most frustrating thing I have had to endure.

I liked channel Ten because of their HD broadcast on One HD. Now it's gone and all that's left is a mediocre commentary team.
I don't think they hate St Kilda, I just think they focus on the big clubs and more specifically, the big players. Darcy is more guilty of this than anyone else.
Today I watched their broadcast on mute and used MMM for commentary. Much better.

I have never realised how horrible Ch 10's commentary team is, when you see all their names in one place you really wonder what were they thinking.
As for the montaga, I could be wrong but I believe that it was mostly focussed on premiership winning teams.
There were other moments included but I don't think that we were ignored more than any of the other unsuccessful teams.
