Lenny will go around for a few more years, he has never been real fast but he makes that up in guts and determination.BigMart wrote:Cool

I don't agree with the OP because as far as I'm concerned It's all good.
Lenny will be back.
Jimmy will be back.
Roo and BJ have had surgery and will have pretty much full preseasons.
Cripps, Ledger, Siposs, Winmar, Ferguson, Curren and Crocker will be ready to go.
Tommy Lynch will make an impact.
Whoever's left of Cahill, Smith, Johnson, Simpkin, Lynch, Stanley and Heyne must step up or ship out.
I don't expect Polo and Gamble to be around.
All in all I expect to win our second premiership next year.

Actually...a little off the topic, but when are the delisting's typically announced? First week of October deadline?

Good to see that there's some folk on here who have belief that we can have a good season come 2012. I reckon when the dust finally settles and we have the new coach and his staff appointed, the club can lift.
I'm loving how the administration is keeping focussed on the task of getting a new coach rather than bad-mouthing the previous one. (NO mileage in that)
We have seen Berbakov and Misson departing, but that is not to be unexpected as they were appointed by Ross Lyon With the nucleus of our leading players still intact and kids in the wings there is PLENTY to be excited about!!!

I've got no problem with the current list. We really do need some additional fresh faces here and there, but the core is still very capable.
The knee-jerk, and boy do I mean jerk reactions of some regarding Lyons departure is rather amusing. The more I look at it, the more I think the club was happy to have a change in direction. Let's face it, we were becoming quite predictable and teams knew how to negate our boring Lyonised game plan.
I'm looking forward to seeing an energitic team next season, excited by a new game plan. I'm excited knowing there's going to be a shake-up in regards to the playing group that'll breathe life back into the Saints. I do expect big things in 2012. I do expect us to get deep into the finals. The window is still open and will be open for a few years more.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!
