Interesting to hear what he says, the captain MUST show leadership!

Here's a wild guess. He'll say he is disappointed, but that Ross did very well while at the Saints. He'll then say we have to move forward and he bears no ill will against Ross. Finally he will say that he looks forward to the club selecting their next coach and he will be sure that the players will give their all to him just like they did previously.

BTW, it's Brendon.

I'm happy enough if he does say that sort of stuff.

Nothing to gain by saying the sort of things we'd want to say.

Robbo's predicting he will give answers........ Robbo was a Lyon supporter as far as you can get- but certainly stood up for him-- he is bruised from believing..

Rooey's voice sounds like along night been held.

I was a lyon hater, then a lyon fan. Spent the last 3 years defending him, so its a burn.

But the club is bigger than any player coach or administrator.

When asked by Robbo whether Lyon actually ever told the players he would be at St. Kilda next year, Nick's answer was that he had another year on his contact to run...there were assumptions made...but he never said that verbatim.

This tells me that Lyon was deceitful to the players he once called "my boys". His boys had no idea this was coming, they assumed he would be there by his actions but he was very careful with what he actually said. This really is a very strong betrayal of trust.

Good on you Rooey for not having a swipe at the dog and showing that you are a strong leader.

No question, but not of interest to most viewers except Saints fans. I would have liked to know what it was as well. I guess it was a "scrape" but that covers a multitude of sins. I wonder how much cartilage he actually has left in his left knee.

We are in the market for a coach, so as a club we need to be as professional as possible.

Engaging in a slanging match would not be a good look, and may scare off potential candidates.

Yes, agree, but it must be bloody tempting to have at least one crack at the dog. You can see the hurt in Rooey.s face and in his voice. Shows how professional he is and the quality of his leadership.

what ever it was it didn't take long? in at 5.30 and out when Ross got there at around 7.

BJ also had surgery Friday.

As evidenced per the discussion on AFL Game Day about Ross Lyon's move to Fremantle, Nick Riewoldt has an amazing way of not showing his entire frustration publicly - even though it seems that privately he must be furious - and would clearly like to let it out - but his professionalism stops him doing that.

A remarkable, and sensitive man, indeed.

P.S. What was that comment by Nick at the end of AFL Game Day about his head needing a rest after the last week? Couldn't help but smile after hearing that one. Love the honesty!

Robbo and Richo suggested he may need more surgery having sat for an hour with his knee bent- Nick suggested he may need brain surgery

Yes with the kind of year Nick's had, it would do anyone's brain in. Can only look to a much improved 2012 and it all strats now.
