Did the appointment of Pelchen tip him over the edge?

Don't start the my girlfriend left and slept with all my mates what did I do wrongs... he is now officially a c$#@. If he walked for cash or opportunities elsewhere for what ever reason he is now the enemy. Saints have been left scrounging out the back in the rubbish of the coaching buffet. Dogs & Adelaide have a nice head start and it's his fault that we got even further behind. Honesty would have been nice, but he probably was waiting to see that his new club didn't get inconvenienced in their announcement timing.

And Ross had to report to him. I guess he will be in charge at Freo. Can anyone imagine Michael Malthouse reporting to someone at Collingwood?
Speaking of whom, if Collingwood stick to their "plan", he will be available to coach next year. Other than a newbie, he would be my number one pick. Why? Simple. Michael Malthouse=skills improvement. The last thing we want is losers like Mark Harvey, Neil Craig, Rodney Eade or Mark Williams.

There's been enough rumours/stories about Ross being hard to work with.
Maybe Pelchen is also hard to work with.Â
But these conflicts usually take a while to develop. Why would Lyon start the bail out process the minute Pelchen arrives?
If that is in any way a reason for all this it sounds pretty pathetic!

Interstingly GT predicted this on Footy Classified when asked about the new Saints Structure.Legendary wrote:How can it be a coincidence that the very same week Chris Pelchen starts working at St Kilda, Ross Lyon's management speaks to the Fremantle board about coaching them next year?
Where there is smoke, there is fire.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

IF RL left because of another appointment, then he is a fool. In any organisation, you got to work with all types, with people & styles you may not like. That is what being PROFESSIONAL is all about.plugger66 wrote:Yep and got completely blasted on here.kalsaint wrote:Interstingly GT predicted this on Footy Classified when asked about the new Saints Structure.Legendary wrote:How can it be a coincidence that the very same week Chris Pelchen starts working at St Kilda, Ross Lyon's management speaks to the Fremantle board about coaching them next year?

A brave and very gutsy board would've been looking forausfatcat wrote:Damien Barrett said there was a issue between roos and chris.
Can I say told you so now I said it at the time of chris' appointment
A replacement for Ross then and there, if they could read the play better.
Clearly the board stuffed up and assumed Ross would work under Pelchen. Plain dumb!!!
