seriously do we really want another coach?
start again?
all the gossip and media??
f*** that, can we have a couple of years where everything is just good and nice and comfy??
not too much to ask is it
??
Spot on - nice & comfy....gawd we know he can coach, improve the cattle.
If a new coach came in - can he coach.
Recycled coach - it's back to square one to a degree....not my list etc etc...
The grass isn't always greener.......

No he would leave it to the net guy to make calls as he sees it.
I reckon you're right. If he had already made his mind up to leave, why would he bother.
It doesnt mean that he still wont go but it does indicate what his initial thoughts are.
Pelchen is in charge of the list now
Also Gardiner & Baker were really always going to be going this year. Same could be said about Eddy & Mini... These decisions would have been made long ago, probably before this saga started.
As posted on a different thread, if Hawthorn can get a deal done with Clarkson whilst they are in finals mode, then why can't we do the same?"
Let's hope for some good news this week, but Nettlefold's words and body language last night on Footy Classified, did not convince me that things were on track with Ross.

I don't think the Hawks had Clarko signed for 2012 so they were probably a bit more vulnerable from an attack from Captain Eyebrows

Probably right there Doc, but people don't generally move on unless they are unhappy with things where they are, the future opportunity is far better, or the offer cannot/will not be matched by the current employer.
I am not confident about the ability of the Club heirachy on major matters
such as this. However, there are always two sides that can be argued.

Why would MN go on Footy Classified last night if things were not on track. If Lyon was to leave this this week he would look pretty silly and so would the St Kilda footy club. MN could not speak with certainty because there still are some things to sort out, but the intention on both parties is to resign and extend the contract and things are progressing just fine, I believe is what he was trying to convey.
