Take him out of Collingwood and put him beside Hayes,Dal ect and I'm not sure he could'nt have been the differnce in the drawn grandfinal as painful as that is !!

Agree on the Ball comment totally. We never had another inside player capable of delivering what Ball could do, bar Lenny.

I was led to believe that Judd was never really considered over either Hodge or Ball due to the shoulder reconstruction and heavy bandaging still being worn as a kid. Seen as a risk an it was as unfortunate choice with hindsight but the decision was balanced at the time.

JB the only thing completely wrong with that comment is not one of GT's kids had gone to secondary school when Ball was drafted. GT certainly didnt pick Ball. Bevo did.
