Milne and Polo, anything to worry about?

A couple of cheap shots to the guts.

Milne has a good record but I think Polo has points from his trip on Goodes.

I wouldn't think they have anything to worry about. Not enough impact

didn't milne get done for 'attempted' striking.

with numbers failing in sydney, the AFL would do anything to see the swannies through to the quarters.

Like speed cams these things can't get much better than the shots shown tonight of our little misdemeanors...shame this technology didn't exist a little earlier otherwise we'd know for sure who shot Kennedy.
But the thing that can really piss you off is when a bloke(who plainly is not happy that you are doing any good..(I'll let you guess who that was) was so happy to show replays.

Was Milne simply retaliating to some harsh treatment on the boundary line ?

No that was Baker.....who has been done for anything and everything including when there is no evidence.

Quite sure that he backwards headbutted Farmer...but there was no evidence at all...and so should not have gone.

not much in them however if the media highlight them as they sometime do, they'll probably get weeks .
love to see them highlight the carlton player standing on milney's fingers which is why he retaliated

They did highlight Joseph standing on Milne's fingers, I'm pretty sure one of our guys (Roo?) did exactly the same thing in the last couple of weeks.

Think he'll be alright, that was some seriously poor acting by Joseph.

Jones copped a knee tonight high, wonder if that will be looked at?

Also talk of a Judd sling tackle in the second, who was that on?

Stop being so paranoid - both Walls and Blight highlighted Joseph's standing on Milney's fingers. They also said there was nothing in the retaliation by Milne and the umpires should have a better feel for the game and not pay such rubbish.

Nothing of any force in either incident. It's finals time, so the incidents would have to be clear-cut from all points of view, to put guys out during the finals.

Would be tough for poor old Marco Polo to get rubbed out. Comes from Richninth, who don't play finals. Has worked very hard to establish a spot in the side. You would think he would be hangin' to play a final this week.

The footy panel (ch 9) all laughed at the fact that these incidents were even being discussed! I hope they are right!
Last time they laughed at something like that on The Game Plan, the incident they scoffed at, cost Roo dearly. The MRP doesn't always see things in the same way as everyone else!

I'm a bit worried about Polo: I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was suspended.

If anything happens to Milne there should be a riot.

If Milne gets cited and misses next week I would have to walk away from the game for my sainty and health...after Halls full force rabbit punch on Mcguire in 2005 which was dismissed to get the swans a flag it would be just too much to bear...shouldn't even get a reprimand but we are talking MRP and anything is possible !!!

Polo cleared, Milne offered reprimand for 5 year good record, Joseph fined $900 for standing on his hand.

Edit - Murphy should be fined for staging if that tap was thrown out due to insuffcient contact
