2. Steven (my next jumper will bear the no 3, I can sense it)
1. Koz
Really the only player I thought wasn't on was Gram, but even he was serviceable.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

A true king doesn't smear his blood on an opponent when he cannot break a tag.
A true king does not label umpires disgraceful.
A true king is Robert Harvey.

5. Goddard - Turned the game in the second quarter and dominated from then on
4. Koschitzke - Played his role to perfection. Brought the ball to ground numerous times resulting in goals to teammates and managed to kick three himself. Gave great structure to the team
3. Milne - Was absolutely deadly delivering the ball inside 50 for 4 goals assists to go with 4 of his own
2. Riewoldt - Played like a true captain for the first time this year. Kicked important goals, set some up and battled on strongly after that nasty hit. Was the polar opposite of the Roos skipper Brent Harvey, who whined and sniped all night because he couldn't get a kick
1. Dal Santo - Another very solid game with a good mix of inside grunt and outsite class
Montagna, Armitage, Gilbert, Dempster, Schneider and Polo also very good.

5. Goddard - instrumental in the momentum shift when the game was getting away from us.
4. Riewoldt - welcome back skip.
3. Koschitzke - ran tirelessly and just crashed packs all night. Some really encouraging repeat efforts, not least the occasion that led to Dal Santo's scrappy goal from the goalsquare.
2. Milne - just gets the points over schneider. Mainly because those two goals he kicked early in the third, he had no right to kick. Butchered a couple too, but hey it's Milney we're talking about.
1 - Dempster. When was the last time this guy's opponent got away from him?
Apologies: Schneider, Dal, Armo etc. Thought a continuation of positive signs re Gilbo too. Getting back to something near what he's capable of.

"I'm in the middle of a long conversation with my audience. It'll be a lifelong journey for both of us by the time we're done." - Bruce Springsteen.
5. Rooey - Took a big hit and wanted to make a statement and stay on.
4. BJ - Took the game on and was the turning point when he went into the midfield in the 2nd QTR.
3. NDS - Was consistent all night, great balance
2. Yappa - Scored goals and set up a few more.
1. Armo - Great tackler, and showed no fear when the game was there to be won.
Could of put Demp, Kosi, Steven, Gilbo and Schniderman in, just ran out of numbers.
