Of our season
Of the defensive game plan.....and how the rope-a-dope can really hurt on a momentum shift...
Of the absolute weakness of some of our GOPs
Of our heavy reliance on a few
We are admirable though

That is my observation
I believe this game is an accurate representation of our team/season
Pummelled in the clearances.....while the effort is there we go ok, as soon as it drops...we struggle in the SAME areas
Other things we often see
Zac monstered by a power fwd
Nick miss a set shot from 40
Sam gilbert make a massive blue
Nick dal santo doing some outstanding work
Some strange kicking
Some big momentum shifts

Thought our forward structure was a little better tonight than on average this season.
We seemed to find more space and use our options better ... Kosi and Riewoldt worked much better as a pair (more like 2009 when Tudor was there).
Whether that was out structure/delivery/run or whether it was North Melbourne's positioning/set up ... well I'm not sure.

They know they've got to produce to keep Walsh out.Legendary wrote:Thought our forward structure was a little better tonight than on average this season.

Because they relented or because we stepped up a gear and put the pressure on?BigMart wrote:Why would i pot the team i support.....
Is that not accurate...what i said....
Which part is actually incorrect...
Similar to wc game, richmond game, collingwood game, melb game.....freo game
List goes on....
Nth seized control for twenty minutes.....then we snuffed them, because they relented

I have critisized Kosi quiet regularly the past few years but tonight he made me eat my own hat. He was outstanding and apart from those misses, could have been close to best on ground tonight.
On another note, is Ben possibly carrying and injury or am I expecting too much of him at this end of the year?

I'm looking forward to the finals series then...Sydney, Carlton, Hawthorn, and we've regularly beaten Collingwood and Geelong in the past. A bit of wind in the sails, and we may bully our way into a meaningful finals campaign. Here's hoping anyway.BigMart wrote:...a team we have bullied for many years...

Can you be anymore negative. Seriously have you got anything positive to say after a 60 point. Any bad coaching or team selections. Funny that has hardly been mentioned after the win. Be happy, it doesnt hurt.BigMart wrote:That is my observation
