...about the result of this week's game.

In the last four years, with two rounds to go:
In 2007, we were 9th, 2 points out of the eight. We lost one and won one but finished 9th with 11-1-10.
In 2008, we were eighth, 4 points clear. We won both easily and finished 4th with 13-9.
In 2009, we were 1st, having lost our first game for the year. We played North in round 21 and lost, but won the next week and still finished first (20-2), two games clear of 2nd.
In 2010, we were 3rd, assured of a top 4 spot, and needing one win to finish 3rd. We won against Richmond and lost to Adelaide, so finished 3rd (15-1-6).

Currently, we are 10-1-9.

At the moment, I'm hopeful.

I'm hopeful.
tipsters tipping against us and bookies favouring us. Both teams have blown hot and cold this year. should be a good game. I just hope we arent taking too many niggles in.

I've done a few calculation on the Bat-computer, and it tells me that we've never lost a Round 23 game....

1991: Beat Brisbane by 120
1992: Beat Melbourne by 15
1994: Beat the Filth by 2

That's good enough for me. I'm confident.

(Happy to be proven wrong by anyone a bit more savvy with AFL stats...)

Confident, we love bashing up on inferior teams at the dome.

I haven't enjoyed this season from a Saints point of view- I expected us to come out with determination to finish off the unfinished business, but instead it's been hot and cold, major injuries, big name players looking ordinary... I think it's only RLs game plan drilled into the team that somehow got us on the verge of finals, as it hasn't been from any inspirational performances from our stars and if your star players just going along, then success in the big games is hard to achieve. I think we can beat North, but the finals will bring us undone unless Roo, Goddard, Montagna and NDS really pull their fingers out from hereon in.

pessimistic. I don't like our chances of kicking a winning score with the current forward line unless milney produces another miracle.

Yeah, but you forgot Walsh will be a late inclusion and will eradicate John Coleman's debut record from the books.

I'm pretty confident. The Kangas aren't that good. If we can't beat them at the Dome, then we shouldn't be in the finals anyway.

Very Confident,

have not lost at the Dome on Sat night since 2003.

More over our experience will get us over the line.

hopeful.

Thought we were bit lucky to get over the line last time we met the kangas, and while they've arguably improved, we've just been holding our form at best. Really hoping we have another gear, but we couldn't find it last week when the stakes were similarly high.

Very confident.

We had a virtual bye last week.

Players will be very fresh and ready to turn it on big time.

Exactly. Kooweerup would've troubled Freo last week. This is at the Dome and we are better than North anyway.

Hopefully cautiously optimistic. Hard game but if the good saints turn up we will kill them, if the ones from last week come we are f@%$ed.

It's nice to go to games with the belief that at any given game "we can win." I can remember years of " no hope today."

For tomorrow night, I am cautiously optimistic!

Confident...

We have not lost a must win game since 2008... GF's excluded.

We usually win when we have to.

Tonight will be no exception imo.

Apprehensive.

The Roos have their tails-up and have the speed to really trouble us if we're not on switched-on defensively.

I'm predicting a close game.
