Take that Mark- Nick's fine

Post: # 1125656Post saintbrat »

But today Riewoldt ran freely at training and Saints assistant coach Adam Kingsley dismissed any concerns over the captain's fitness.

"Nick's fine. Contrary to some reports, he has been doing all of the full training," he said.

I wonder Who McClure's source is when he stated last night that Nick rarely trained more than once per week- or maybe he really did only mean running at full tilt
He did state he had contacts at the club.....

ST KILDA captain Nick Riewoldt has shrugged off knee soreness and will lead the Saints against North Melbourne tomorrow night.

If Nick's fine why was he sitting on the pine?

I can assure you Saintbrat that Mc.Clure is talking absolute dribble. The ONLY time Roo misses a bit of training is when he has a media committment in the moments before training. Often Ross is late as well!

Sarh Jones from FoX said on Teams that Nick was training today but appeared to be moving "gingerly" on that knee (whatever that means). There wasn't much footage, but he wasn't wearing any strapping on the knee !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

He has knee soreness, doesn't mean it can't be managed, but it's so obvious.

I thought Roo looked proppy againt the Filth and clearly had trouble stopping quickly from a run and turning quickly- all very kneeish. If his knee is OK then I'm a sausage roll!

Breen is Maclure's best mate. Barry lives in Sydney anyway, so doubt he'd have any idea what's going on at the club.
