Tommy thread #463
lets see what everyone thinks will happen
dont vote what you WANT to happen
vote what you think will happen
Id like to see him get a crack (obviously) but only if the match up is there and if he is needed due to injury
i dont think he;ll get the nod
hopefully thinking that means he will
vote now

Should we follow the team official selection line/rules and not select him (vote no) or "select him" (with a "yes") as an emergency ?
Maybe there should be a "yes" (in apostrophes) option too .. as in "picked" as an emergency ? .. but doesn't make the 22.

Will be dissapointed if he doesn't get a go.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

These are not official selection rules. Mods please ban this poster, or at least send him a PM telling him that because his view and post is derisive and at odds with other views, that it is unacceptable and only posted to incite.samoht wrote:Should we follow the team official selection line/rules and not select him (vote no) or "select him" (with a "yes") as an emergency ?

There's a big difference between wanting him to play and thinking that he will be selected. I'm certainly on the bandwagon for him to be picked however I wouldn't be surprised if Lyon picks the tried and tested for the crunch match against the Roos. Lose and we will most likely not make the finals so there is a lot at stake.

However ..
Our forward line is too slow .. Shaw got 29 possessions against us, Leon Davis got 36 the week before.
It's the half backs that are killing us .. they are always amongst the opposition best players.
We need to do something about it.
Even if Walsh (who is a quick tall) is overlooked again Cripps should not be if fit. We need more pace (and effective pressure) in the forward line.

If you're talking this week I can't see Cripps being fit to go.samoht wrote:Good post.Old Mate wrote:There's a big difference between wanting him to play and thinking that he will be selected. One Sandy Reserves match, following surgery on a fairly significant injury, would hardly be enough for the rigors of AFL footy - even in the role of sub.
