Dont reckon he would play 2 days in a row, depends when and why the other 2 had to withdrawplugger66 wrote:Not great. This is a huge game for us. Lose this and the finals would be doubtful. We certainly would start favourite in either of our last 2 games if we lose today. Should be to good though. Also proves Walsh is still some way off it if he couldnt play today with 2 talls out.

I think that's more indicative of a slippery surface, Plugger.plugger66 wrote:Not great. This is a huge game for us. Lose this and the finals would be doubtful. We've been caught out plenty of times being too tall on greasy days.
Gold Coast game case in point.
Dawson out because no true match up, you'd reckon.
Agree : MASSIVE game.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Don't want to be a pessimist but this is terrible news as far as I'm concerned. Swans have two towering ruckmen in Seaby and Mumford. If Blake plays 2nd ruck who plays full back? Very worried about this game. Saw the swans play 2 weeks against the bombers and they looked very good. Obviously last week they were poor. We will need to bring our very best game.

They are both out with gastro so it could have been a last minute thing.plugger66 wrote:Not great. This is a huge game for us. Lose this and the finals would be doubtful. He can't be any worse than Tom Lynch who has no ability at all at the AFL level. Shows the stupidity of playing the magoos on the day before the main game. Whoever did the cooking last night needs a lesson in hygiene.plugger66 wrote: Also proves Walsh is still some way off it if he couldnt play today with 2 talls out.

The coaching panel should have stopped him playing yesterday.bigcarl wrote:Silly comment. He's expected to play twice in two days?plugger66 wrote:Also proves Walsh is still some way off it if he couldnt play today with 2 talls out.
Surely they would have known that Zac and Kosi were going to be unavailable with last minute gastro.
Once again a poor display from the Selectors.

Also because he was not listed as an emergency. We paid a $10,000 fine (from memory) last time we put in a non emergency. You got that laying around?bigcarl wrote:Silly comment. hmmm the article isn't really specific if it is isolated or wide spread.
Really hope it isn't a thing that a number of guys are suffering from.
