Remind me the last time that you heard Joffa bag a Collingwood player publicly?

The fact is, it was Kosi who was the target, after his magnificent game on Friday night.

This is a serious question, and not an attempt to denigrate.

Why do our cheer squad sound so quiet at games?
I believe Dooley when he states they are trying as hard as they can to chant and cheer, but the truth is that in Bay 38 (where I sit) I can hardly ever hear them, whereas the opposition cheer squad is always loud.

Is it becasue we have too great a percentage of young girls (or just kids) and their voices do not carry?

Has anybody at the Cheer Squad investigated if there is some way their sound can be artificially amplified?
I fear what we will hear this Friday night -our home game and we'll get drowned by that godawful 'Colonwooooood' chant.

Joffa is the president and thats Joffa. Honestly why do you or anyone give a sh*t what someone thinks. Anyone is allowed to have an opinion on the saints.

BTW im in the CS, cant stand the joint, most are nuff nuffs but they do try and make noise. By all means older, more mature men should join if they really care enough.

I think part of the problem is that our supporter base is so spread out at Etihad. Cheer Squad at one end, reserved seating one side and Social Club on the other. With lots of randoms in between! Remember the good old days at Moorabbin. The cheer squad would start, and before long the whole members side of the ground would be thumping!

That has been tried before, but it seems older ladies with knitting needles is what they're more looking for.

I had a good view of the Freo cheer squad, couldn't believe how much noise they made for so few.

The demographic leading the chants were young guys probably about 18 years old, their was a whole front row of them that would turn around and face the cheer squad like they were conductors of an orchestra.

Worked very, very well.

Perhaps the cheer squad could attempt to load all the booming young male voices together in the front row, have them lead in a similar fashion?

I tried for some time to join but was never made to feel welcome and tiold of all the things I "had" to do such as attend interstate games and assist with the banner ect, things I was not able to do at the time. All I got was a gob full about how I dont "care enough" and im not a "real supporter"

This is my personal experiance and not a knock on the cheersquad
