Goodbye pork pie? on aisle 18/19 level one

Post: # 1109894Post thejiggingsaint »

Hiya Folks!!!! The old jiggster-roonie has a dilemma. :? With the drop in temperature I decided to dispense with the porkpie hat for the game last night and opted for using the beanie (otherwise known as our tea cosy) for head wear. Now....we had an absolute BELTER of a flogging of the crows, so I'm wondering...do I continue to deny the teapot its cover and use the beanie? or stick with the old pork pie hat that has seen all the highs and lows? I'm no "fashionista" I know, and if it brought a flag would wear (almost  ) anything to the game! So is it "goodbye pork pie"

Mingus was a jazz genius. Miles Davis rated him as the greatest bassist who ever lived.

YES! But of course, only ONE (unless one is particularly hungry) can be eaten  There again, I've often said that if Ray Chamberlain gives us an even run with free kicks I'd eat it!!!

The pork pie will fit nicely on top of the beanie Jigster, but if the combination is wrong it can always be reversed in the second half.

Damn straight. I'm a musician. I study jazz/improvisation at the VCA.

Mingus, Monk, Davis, Coltrane, Bird, names like this occupy the same exalted status in my mind as Plugger, Banger, Roo, Buckets and Cuz.

Wore the old pork pie for the game last friday...the folk around me were asking where the beanie was in that second quarter (I told 'em Mrs jigging needed the tea cosy!)  Thankfully it all came good in the end!! Its the same old same old for the ragpies game this week! (the beanie will be in the bag though just in case! ) I like the look of the Club fedora (on someone else! no offence to 'em)

It looks like a change of head gear each quarter could be the way to go

A "change of headgear each quarter"? mate the way they've been going in some quarters at SOME games this year, it's been a change of other "items of apparel"
