Dean polo's handpassing
Dean polo has some of the quickest hands around and has become important. He looks like he is worth the pick up, he looks to be enjoying his footy now. Do people rate him yet?

He played a great game. His limitation seems to be that he has not much penetration with his kick. But as for getting the ball and dishing it out, he was as good as anyone tonight. Like others have said, a whole bunch of the lesser-lights were great and played a role (Gamble, Clarke, Dempster, Ray, Kosi, Jones)

Thing that has impressed me the most, is that he was almost pigeon holed as an inside player only.
He certainly isn't overly quick, also not a plodder when it comes to foot speed.
But he spreads really well. He continues to run from the time he gets on the ground to when he gets his rest.
Works well forward and back.
He isn't a top AFL player or anything like that, but I think he is better then just a role player, he is a handy addition to the side.

Played a ripper. Like him at the coalface handballing. Questionable disposal but can win the footy and is having a serious dip. Good on him.
STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY.

Polo has had a really good couple of weeks. Agree with many of the points above including his quick hands. Great getting the handball out from the bottom of the pack. Has certainly showed a bit and looks happy to be there. Hope he continues to improve. Just wish he'd kicked that goal to top off a great night for him.
Robert Walls commented during the game tonight that tonight's game by Polo was better than any he had seen him play for Richmond.
If anything I think he was even better last week and was certainly under a lot more pressure.
