How slow do we want our midfield?
Lance or James??

It means he'd dump his career, his mates, his relationship, pack up and move back to Melbourne, like any supporter would...don't you know anyfink???plugger66 wrote:Can someone explain what following the Saints has to do with anything. Pretty sure he follows Port Adelaide now and probably has no interest in our club.

especially after we off load umpteen GOP's at years end...we'll be out to re stock a few.....Salopek could be ideal...get pelchen to broker the deal....plugger66 wrote:Is this the guy that is aways injured, probably on a packet and has been out of form for 2 years at least. Sounds ideal for a club like us.

He is a good player with an upside and would be worth a look but for mine the steals would be Shane tuck who leads the tigers in just about every stat and 1 percenters and can't get a game and mitch morton who is also out of favour but both are potential stars at another club and both wouldn't cost much. Tuck is just not in the future planning and Morton is a mystery.

Shane Tucks disposal is woeful so he'd be perfect for us....gringo wrote:He is a good player with an upside and would be worth a look but for mine the steals would be Shane tuck who leads the tigers in just about every stat and 1 percenters and can't get a game and mitch morton who is also out of favour but both are potential stars at another club and both wouldn't cost much. Tuck is apparently on a performance based contract where if he plays over 15 games - it costs Richmond - so he may not get another game, no matter how well he plays in the VFL, he is an emergency again this week.gringo wrote:He is a good player with an upside and would be worth a look but for mine the steals would be Shane tuck who leads the tigers in just about every stat and 1 percenters and can't get a game and mitch morton who is also out of favour but both are potential stars at another club and both wouldn't cost much. Morton had his off field personal hassles, and now appears to be back playing well again in the VFL.
I would consider both of these for sure.

Re: Would you consider Salopek?
Crikey... I would like to get Salopek but don't think he's worth more than a 3rd rounder at best or a fringe player or if Port was dumb enough to swap him for our garbage players (2 or 3 of them in combination).SaintPav wrote: First round draft pick and a young player like Siposs for Saladpek and a third round draft pick.
I'm glad ur not in charge of our trading though (if you're being serious)

Yes Vince also - but you would need to give up 1st Rnd DP or a top player for either. Think people consider Salopek because he seems to be out of favour and is injury prone - which means he could come fairly cheap....longtimesaint wrote:If we were trading for a midfielder/half-forward i would ratherr try for Dangerfield -he wants to return to Melbourne.

Vince is another over-rated player who has played above average for one entire season out of six. Big deal.MCG-Unit wrote:Yes Vince also - but you would need to give up 1st Rnd DP or a top player for either.
