Fair dinkum....armo must be on the nose.....well ross's nose
Cold wet day, i reckon a 'talented' inside mid would be handy....
We have had 90% of the play.....12 inside 50's to 1.......lead by 2 goals...although it is wet

Time to face the reality that Steven has seized his chance and has squeezed Armo out of this position.
This is good news as Steven has hit his straps and is exhibiting real class and shows every sign that he could become an A-grade mid.
Steven not only wins the ball...but he runs and spreads better...and uses it better.
Not sure we could say the same about Armo.
Steven >> Armo.
Still hope to see Armo play in the 22, but let's not bitch and moan about him not playing as the inside mid....for that spot is deservedly Steven's given the form that he is in.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

Not sure this has anything to do with it...saintsRrising wrote:Steven >> Armo.
Noone is comparing the two, and we are fortunate that Steven has come on as he has, and clearly has greater output than Armo...
Thats fine...
But what has Armo done wrong (or conversely, Polo done right), for Armo to be relagated to less game time, less opportunity to influence games, each week, where Polo is backed in to contribute??... And doesn't, yet is backed again...
Armo and Steven could/should work and grow together in the middle, underneath BigMac, with an eye to 2012's starting mids...
Is there a rule that you can only have jack steven in the midfield.....
Is that from the same people who thought, that because we had lenny hayes....we needed no other clearance mid....
We do realise, that there are between 3 and 5 clearance mids in everyteam....
A mid is a mid......they play around the contest or 'on the ball' .......they all win contested ball, all win loose ball.....
Armitage had 9 touches an three score invovements in 40 mins.......he should be a part of the midfield rotation......

If his body isnt right, and confidence is gone,he shouldnt be in the sidegringo wrote:Gram is having a shocking year but I still say his body isn't right and his confidence is slipping as well. Polo isn't awful and plays more of an outside mid than Armo. He needs to stop drifting out in the second half though.
I thought Gamble our other new whipping boy played well.
