you pick and choose who you want to support. you should not be on the cheer squad. you are a disgrace and If i could be bothered i would complain to the club and have you removed.saintdooley wrote:you are such a f****** coward.joffaboy wrote:I asked RL if he thought this thread was childish and stupid.saintdooley wrote:my god JB. He remarked that he thought it was a great source of encouragement to the team.
Apparently with other teams RL has been involved with, like Sydney, the team derived encouragement from the Cheer Squad, but RL said at St.Kilda the cheer squad actively discourages the team by booing, attacking individual players, and leaving early.
RL said that he thought it was the cheer squad booing Raph Clarke last night.
Apparently members of the cheer squad have a debilitating condition known as irony defeciency as well. The condition is not fatal, but once contracted symptoms include:
1) All other posters on an internet forum seeing that people with irony deficiency lack intelligence and any nous whatsoever
2) A complete lack of respect from anyone with an IQ of more than 40.
act all tough and funny behind your computer but you would never meet in person.
members of the cheer squad will be at the game this week to support the boys, i highly doubt the moorabbin wing or yourself will be. until then, stfu and keep hiding away.
will you boo the team as usual or walk out at 3/4 time?saintdooley wrote:members of the cheer squad will be at the game this week to support the boys, i highly doubt the moorabbin wing or yourself will be. until then, stfu and keep hiding away.
No sensible posts old mate, this is not the thread for objectivity or common sense.Old Mate wrote:He looked good coming in as the sub. Gave us a bit of drive that went missing as the game wore on.
Went missing as the game wore on??? He came on at the 15 min mark of the last qtr, the game ended at the 27 min mark, how the hell did he have time to go missing??? He got4 possessions in 10 mins of football, more importantly he provided heaps of run. I wear his number with pride on my jumper. He has faced adversity that would make most of us crawl into the fetal position, yet he fronts up week in, week out. BTW if any weak bastard boos him near me take heed, there will be troubleOld Mate wrote:He looked good coming in as the sub. Gave us a bit of drive that went missing as the game wore on.
Just a suggestion, but it helps if you read the posts you quote before you comment on them.BringBackMadDog wrote:Went missing as the game wore on??? Out comes the old chestnut........againborderbarry wrote:I can recall the ratbags on this forum attacking other players in the past, but never with the furocity and consistency that poor old Raph gets. For a young man that puts everything on the line for the Saints, even though he is an epileptic, it makes you wonder about the mentality of the Raph Haters. Could it be that there is a touch of racism on this forum?

The Saints lost drive as the game wore on, not Clarke. He provided the drive that we needed.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - who cares whether he has epilepsy? How is that relevant to anything? I reckon Raph himself would be embarrassed that this is brought up as some sort of excuse for himself. Raph is and always has been, a player on the fringe of AFL footy. He did well when he came on this week as the sub, he did poorly when he came on last game as the sub. As a rule he has been poor this year. He has played some very good games for the club, but way too many poor games in his time at the saints. Whether he has a medical condition, different pigmentation to us pale skins or likes hanging out at gay bars with transvestite midgets is completely irrelevant to me. He should be judged as to how he performs. He deserves no more or no less sympathy than the next player. Are the supposed 'Zac haters' prejudiced against 6'3 pasty skinned red heads?borderbarry wrote:I can recall the ratbags on this forum attacking other players in the past, but never with the furocity and consistency that poor old Raph gets. You can actually hear the cries of derision around the ground when Raph goes for the ball... no doubt so can he. Do people think this is any way to 'support' or help their team?
I'd say it's the exact opposite of supporting... reminds me of the tools who ran onto the ground during that final in SA. They are a liability.
I don't like the term 'loser', but we have a few angry ones out there, and they should have a good look at themselves.

I agree 100% markp. However we are not the only supporter base that behaves like this. Bomber supporters were even derided by their own coach for cheering when Stanton got injured a couple of months ago.markp wrote:Nope, just twats.Moods wrote:Are the supposed 'Zac haters' prejudiced against 6'3 pasty skinned red heads?
