What did he do that wasn't up to your standards?borderbarry wrote:One of Zac's best games?????
I must have been watching the wrong match.
Far as I cld tell he competed pretty well with a bigger, stronger, and in form opponent in Petrie. Petrie kicked two goals, but didn't play much part in the general state of affairs.
Who'd be a fullback....
You just get slagged no matter what.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
Given Ledger has a hamstring, I'd like to see Crocker sub next week.
Out Gram, Dawson
In Walsh, Crocker (sub)
Walsh to play FB, Raph to play Grams role
Before anyone gets upset with me over Dawson, I just think it's time Tommy had a go, and as good a job as I think Zac did on Petrie, I'd tell him to work on his temper.

Personally I think throwing in Walsh to play on Schulz would be throwing him to the wolves. Westhoff and Ebert can take a grab too.SainterK wrote:Given Ledger has a hamstring, I'd like to see Crocker sub next week.

Walsh to Jay Shulz could be an interesting first hit out. A 'maybe' on a 'not bad, not super.'SainterK wrote:Given Ledger has a hamstring, I'd like to see Crocker sub next week.

I'm with you on Gram. Appreciate the role was foreign as, well, cigarettes to elite athletes, but how a tagger can't at least get more than a dribble of CP's astounds me. Maybe the instruction was 'sacrifice and learn selflessness'.
Crocker sounds like he might be a bit 'underweight' for the level, but he could be a good sub option.
I doubt Dawson will be an omission, but I think your ideas are good.

It won't be Walsh on Schultz though, it will be a team defence v Schulz.dcstkfc wrote:Personally I think throwing in Walsh to play on Schulz would be throwing him to the wolves. Gilbert should be able to go with Westoff, Gwilt - Ebert.
Crocker, he just stands out to me at training, his kicking is fantastic. He may be slight, but I reckon he'd make the most of the opportunity.
Not sure Johnson will get in, Lynch did a VERY good job IMO.
