I will add to this by saying i disagree that Carey had put Dunstall above Ablett. Dunstall was a very goo full forward. Ablett could play anywhere, and only towards the end of his career did he venture to Full forward. I think aside from this Ablett really didnt get "serious" until he was 23 years plus ( quite late) From memory Ablett kicked 14 goals from a wing ( may stand corrected as it may have been as half forward), and the point is Dunstall could never do that. Both Ablett and Plugger could do the mercurial... i saw Dunstall as more a very good full forward. Its all opinion of course.

a bit biased of course but the best players i have seen play 'afl'

best i have seen are carey, matthews, baldock, harvey, plugger, stewart, jezza & teddy whitten....
