Footy Couch
If it weren't for us, Zac Dawson wouldn't be able to watch the Sydney v Collingwood match tomorrow night from 7:00. Luckily for Zac, and for you, we exist. FootyCouch>Walls (it's not that hard.) http://www.footycouch.com/
How about you just worry about getting a kick mate...

So you're saying his judgement will be affected by criticism, because he's the same as everyone else?bigcarl wrote:Gimme a break. Isn't Zac also the same as everyone else?
Isn't he allowed to react to criticism then?

Of course. I've got no problem with it.Dr Spaceman wrote:So you're saying his judgement will be affected by criticism, because he's the same as everyone else?bigcarl wrote:Gimme a break. Nope, I don't.BigMart wrote:I guess you never pretend to know stuff about things, of which you are not accutely aware....never
If I did it would hypocritical of me because of my strong stance towards you and others for doing just that.
If I'm just passing on a rumour or a thought, I state that it is a rumour or thought.
If I'm passing on something I know, I state it is something I know.
From years of reading your posts on here I've come to the conclusion (as have others) that you seemingly have no problem big-noting your opinions.
That's fine - it's a free forum.
But the 'indignation' when I or anybody else 'dares' to pick you up when you post errant nonsense is simply breathtaking at times.
I realize it's actually a waste of time responding to your nonsense because like so many, you have a 'closed mind' to anything that isn't 100% supportive of your own view.
You know, the 'can't argue with that' syndrome that some believe wholeheartedly in.
It's really interesting to me that as the years have passed more and more people seemed to have come to the conclusion that much of the 'criticisms' you post about all and sundry seem nothing more than the 'venting' of a frustrated never-was, rather than the insightful comments of someone who actually knows.
I eagerly await the next installment of 'How to play, coach and administer AFL football' from you.
It will be entertaining even if it proves to be as nonsensical as many of your previous efforts have.

Now you speak on behalf of others.....omg
Evidently.....i could say that not all posters think along your lines...
Perhaps six, and its at the point with those same few, that they dont even consider the posts, just oppose them because of the poster.....its ridiculous...and a bit amusing, but sometimes tiresome.
Honestly i dont know why i feel the need to have to vindicate to the same old people.......
Btw....what is your take on the actual thread, my point of view is clear....it was unecessary, and immature.

It would be great if you could also comprehend what is actaully written.
I'll write it in big letters so you don't get it wrong.
I don't post on behalf of anybody other than myself.
I do note that others seem to have 'problems' with what you post.
But once again that simple statement seems to be beyond your comprehension. I'm positive that there are many posters who disagree with what I write. It is after all a forum where people exchange ideas.
You unfortuantely seem to believe that your ideas must be right, and therefore anybody who doesn't agree with your pov is wrong.
I take a different view that I think I'm correct, but I may not be. SO therefore I am interested to read other people's opinions.
I don't have a 'you cannot argue with that' attitude on here.
Probably you don't bother to actually think about what I write becasue you instantly dismiss it.
I at least read your comments before deciding if they're just another one of your 'look how clever I am' nonsense pieces.
As for what Zac tweeted.
Only he and his coaches know whether it was approprate or not in the circumstances.
If it wasn't, I'm sure they'll advise him so.
Has anybody from the Club called you yet to get your take on it?

I'm glad I amuse you.BigMart wrote:Your funny.....really, you are.....
If you didn't take yourself so seriously your posts would be hilarious.
Unfortunately you do seem to actually believe the nonsense you post so the overiding emotion that evokes in me is one of sadness.
Sadness that somebody could so desperately crave acknowledgement from others that they are driven to repeatedly pretend they are an authority on things they clearly have little knowledge on.

Zac tweeted something that is really intended to go to people that care to follow him. Unfortunately the media trawl social media looking for cinders to pour petrol on.
Robert Walls is one f the commentators that I can't stand simply because he is so jaded and angry, he lets it be known that the whole game frustrates him.
He is droll, bitter, finds some minute aspect of the game that he becomes obsessed over such as Gooses' lack of manliness that cost us the game and generally bemoans nearly every thing that happens in a game. He bemoans a lack of bravery one minute and then gets irate at one incident and demands suspensions.
He was on our backs as a club over the Thomas Butterss coaching appointment and couldn't let go. He made countless comments on our unstable culture, so we got him in to appoint a coach so we didn't have him fry us in the media for another 4 years.
I always wonder how the afl can have him as a commentator for interstate games, he would be the single most down voice in the game. Even as an NRL novice I love the voice and nutty enthusiasm of I think his name is Rabbit Warren? You get caught up in the enthusiasm. Compare that to Walls with his obsessive compulsive pedantry and Elliot Goblet tambour and he must have people nodding off to sleep.
