this. surely gram needs a rocket like peake and told you've got 1 and a bit qtrs to prove your self or your gone.borderbarry wrote:Surely not. Didnt they learn by playing Raph as the sub a few weeks ago? What is wrong with our selectors? Are they deliberately trying to assassinate Raph Clark?
peake was a sub first game back against melbourne.

ITs ok to go for experience but at what cost i hope kossi and ralph play well but i do think we are makeing a backward step.bigcarl wrote:I heard Kosi's form wasn't that impressive last week for Sandringham. Can only guess they are going for experience.
I see other teams playing youth and look what happens they step up as our young guys have when they have had there madatory 2 games.
It doesnt look good for the future of our young talent if kossi is not even best for sandy and still gets a game when johnson 5 goals walsh 2 and rucked as well get named before him.
We should trade them to GWS they would get a game and we might get something for a stanley, johnson, walsh,Archer they are looking for big bodyed players.
We dont need them we have Kossi and blake Gardi.
For 3qtrs the ball never came down to ff and when it did it was butchered. The things I did see was he was giving his all and provided contets and pressure.bigcarl wrote:I heard Kosi's form wasn't that impressive last week for Sandringham. Can only guess they are going for experience.
How about watch the game first before tee off on him....... again

Absolute joke, if I hear Lyon bang on about selection integrity again I will dead set spew.
Watched Sandy last week and to be brutally honest both Archer and Walsh were more competitive than Kosi.
Am a huge Lyon fan but he must have not been paying any attention whatsoever to last weeks game.
Umpires have just given the brownlow votes to Scarlett and Ottens.

A champion team will always beat a team of champions.

I dont doubt Kossis effort but when other players can kick goals 7 goals between johnson and walsh both marked well and ran well and were named in the best but not Kosi?
I love kosi as a player but i love the saints more and if i think a player is not up to it like kosi and is keeping a kid out who is playing well and we need i will keep pushing for the kids inclusion.
Johnson kicked 5 goals and from what i saw was not to bad at all but then again johnson and walsh are more mobil and biger bodied then kosi and we have nothing to loose but with kossi i am afraid its past him.

Here we go again - people reaching for the spew bucket  :roll:Â
The way some people go on it's as if we know more than Ross and his assistants and the selectors. I'll admit it's not the way I would have gone but hey I'm not the coach - something all Saints supporters should be greatful for!
I'm sure Ross is fully aware of how Raph went as sub last time. Obviously he thinks it's worth another crack. At least the Raph knockers should be happy he'll be stuck in the green vest for a large part of the match.
But go ahead and spew you spewers. I'm simply waiting for the game to start.

I'm only going on reports I read on here that he was poor and that others ... including walsh and johnson ... did better. Hope he justifies the enormous faith shown in himPwoit wrote:For 3qtrs the ball never came down to ff and when it did it was butchered. kossi was okay...until his lack of fitness and match play caught up with him.....but...there has got to be something wrong with roo...
...oh...and for the record......when is a push in the back ..or an arm chop not a free...????...when the victim is a saints forward with a surname starting with k or r......ffs......not saying the umps were cheating.....just that they were making sure their bets were safe......
