+1

We'd be helpless without the legends who trek out to the VFL!

Eddy started in 40, but after his face was rearranged in the first quarter, changed to 77, as 40 was covered in blood. The rest had their usual Sandy numbers.

Will Johnson - played a great final quarter and stood up with some strong goals. His best was a handball receive, taking 2 bounces and unloading from 50 on the angle. Took some strong contested marks as well too. Obvious big upside as a tall forward with some pace.

Interesting post as not so long ago the so called forum oracle said WJ couldn't mark....

how can 2 spectators observations be so conflicting......

The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.

I think a very good point Foz makes about Lynch.

I can't see him taking his game any further in the Two's. It might sound strange but I think to improve he must play at the top level.

The upside: the continuing development of Tom Walsh as a ruckman and forward who kicked a wonderful long goal and is becoming a more versatile player for the Zebras and more importantly the Saints. Tom Lynch had a very good game across halfback, as did Rob Eddy after a heavy knock. The return of Kosi who did well in the ruck and played out the whole game was also most pleasing. Archer also showed signs he can play as a tall defender. James Magner’s continued extraction of the football from congestion. It was also very good to see Sam Crocker play in our senior side and kick 2 goals. We now have a bye to regroup and will work hard to improve some of the facets of play that we not up to the standard we expect.

How old is Magner? One to look at as a potential rookie?

he's a powerful guy, you wouldn't say that to him directly, plus he's much better than that

Looks like the short fat bloke has more form than the super fit Saints listed players?
