I'd probably go with this too. Essentially Ledger takes Joey's spot and the the subs come somewhere out of Walsh/ Simpkin/ Clarke.

Would of thought Grams run and carry would be a must with the out of Joey.

:D

I reckon if Siposs plays it will be because his body's feeling okay and Ross would like to give him another game. This time in a game where the team may have a chance to play four solid quarters and score a win.

Pretty tough gig for the kid last week given who we were playing, where we were playing, the crowd and his opponent.

Deserves another chance in a game where he probably has more chance to really get involved.

It'll be a shame if Siposs is dropped - as he's one of those rare players that makes each possession count .
He's demonstrated when he's under pressure, even if he's falling to the ground or about to be tackled by two players he doesn't just handball or kick indiscriminately into space, - he makes the effort to deliver the ball neatly to someone.

His tackles and handballs have led to goals .. and he's averaging a goal a match himself
And his effectiveness means every one of his possessions count as 3 - compared to whoever else played in his position.

pretty hard gig for the boy last week.
i'd perservere with him for sure - rather he learn his craft amongst the big boys.
reckon the dogs will either show up and it'll be a hard slog or we'll dominate them like freo. more likely the former, so we can't afford passengers. but i think sippo will contribute his share.
really want to see walsh - but that's a riskier proposal than sipposs.

Out: Montagna
In: Clarke

Sub: Polo

And Siposs isn't going to get dropped for form reasons, reports last week suggested he was sore, so he'll only get rested if his body can't hold out. If Siposs was to miss a week, he wouldn't play at Sandy to regain form.

I wonder why so many people want to drop Arryn Siposs, like last week?

With the bye coming up, Siposs and a few others who are struggling with niggles will get a chance to rest up. Keep playing the boy, I say. Throw the "Tommynator" in as well! Time to find out what he can do. From the few games I've seen him play at Sandy, I've noticed he's a very effective kick. Potentially elite. I suppose he's been intensively coached in this area and he doesn't come with the bad habits that some have acquired during their junior careers. He also has vice-like hands. Very sure overhead and with his ball-handling in general. Admittedly he still has a lot to learn about reading the game and other nuances, but I think his development will be accelerated by playing in the seniors. Go Tommy!

Agree. Persevere with Sippo and give Tommy a run.

Reckon SK has it.

Siposs to sub. Like the way he goes about it, so sub at worst. Joey out and Walsh to debut. Raph on his recent form.

So the choccies go to Sainter K.

Well not yet.

If Rah does play, I'd like to see him in a more offensive role, where his errors don't directly result in opposition goals...

He has had enough time to iron out the urgency issues in his game...

Its not going to happen..

So push him up the ground a bit more, to a wing, and let him use his skill and creativity without the pressure of somebody hurting him as much the other way...

Even play him in Joey's role on the ball and up half forward...

Obviously he'll do it differently to Joey, who has become as good inside as he is out, but let him roam free a bit...

Would love to see Tommy in too...

yep, said this for years. put him somewhere that he can back himself and do some attacking.

put him in the guts for a while even.

run away from the hard ball while carrying his skirt.

but in all seriousness, i'd like him to play this week. we've got the dogs covered for toughness, perhaps not the long fluky goals if things get tight.
