Is schnieder our most under-rated player?
I think this guy add so much potency to our scoring. Showed some of that value yesterday. ...Different player to milne, more versatile. He is creative, kicks goals and when on song very dangerous player for us. I know this is is a lot of ifs, but had he been playing in the first 2 games, that would have been 2 wins 0 losses, instead of loss and draw...

I don't think so either, he was highly regarded last year and rightly so. This year he's been one of the seniors MIA. His performance yesterday was well overdue and he's not off the hook IMO unless he backs it up at least once in the next two weeks.
It's great to have a win against an insipid team that makes our players look like guns but let's not forget it's only been two weeks since that gutless effort against the Hawks.
We're not out of the woods yet. A fair indicator of the team's mentality is how easy it was for Ballantyne to bait them into throwing away that free in front of goal. Wouldn't have happened a year ago.

... Yeah early call. He goes OK Ray. Goes missing a bit though.
Schneids doesn't get enough credit in the media though.

Did Polo give away the free, have a poor game, or was that just oblique humour?#1GILL wrote:Course not, we didn't have Polo a year ago.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

Schneider has also been pretty inconsistent. He's not flamboyant enough to get constant media exposure.dcstkfc wrote:Con Gorozidis wrote:Same. No he's a very frustratingly inconsistant player who shows us he can read the play and the ball amazingly well when he's on song and the next week struggles to get anywhere near the ball.
The scorching hot freezing cold thing week to week is painful I just wish he could be somewhere in between most of the time.
