Were you there or are you relying on the bests posted by the Zebs?plugger66 wrote:Why is Ledger in. Didnt get in the best today. Hope they pick guys who are playing well whether they are 20 or 30 years old.
If you were, well then can't say much if that's your opinion. But if you're relying on the bests, they're notoriously incorrect and people who went to the game often think the names are plucked out of a hat and/or from a different game.
By the sounds of the report on BF, Ledger was pretty good, in everything and 28 touches and a goal sounds decent.
Would you really rather Raph or Eddy or McQ come in? This kids 18 and has played what, 4-5 VFL games and by the sounds of it, he's showing more in those few games than the aforementioned players have in their entire careers.

I wasnt there at all but I can honestly say I want the player who gives the best chance to win against the pies. If Ledger doesnt debut this week but does in another week or two is it going to make one little bit of difference. I doubt it. If he deserves a game, play him other play the guy that does.mick13 wrote:Were you there or are you relying on the bests posted by the Zebs?plugger66 wrote:Why is Ledger in. I wasn't there but I believe the temptation will be to play the experienced guys - assuming of course that they showed some form today.mick13 wrote:Were you there or are you relying on the bests posted by the Zebs?plugger66 wrote:Why is Ledger in. Collingwood is going to be hard enough to beat without the introduction of another 1 or 2 debutants.
The Bulldogs the following week may be the preferred time to test another kid out.

Heard Raph tore Werribee a new one today - given 3 of our backline players from Saturday's game are doubtful (not including BJ), you'd think he'd be a shoe in before anyone.Dr Spaceman wrote:I wasn't there but I believe the temptation will be to play the experienced guys - assuming of course that they showed some form today.
