Dean Cox
Just read that he is out of contract end of season.
Was linked with us early in his career.
We would have to show an improvement in form before the season is over for him to be interested.
Do you think he would be interested in coming to the Saints?
Would we want him? Do you think we need him at the Saints?
I'm not so sure. Would have to come cheaply, don't think west coast would let him go cheaply.
But could be handy in giving McEvoy a little more time to develop.

Kosi trade might be worth looking at.
We would have to put some serious effort into making Kosi look like a decent swap. Let's get the guys who marketed Andrew Lovett to the saints onto that task.
But I would love big cox at the saints!

West Coast look like a finals side now and we don't. Surely he's of more value to them splitting with Nat for the next two or three years than he is as trade bait. I don't think anybody would give up a pick valuable enough to make it worth their while. No player is going to be valuable enough to them that we can afford to lose.
Yeah nah pleasing positive

I know it's really politically incorrect and inappropriate today, but I remember the giggle I had when the cheer squad unfurled the banner in front of the Rush Stand at Victoria Park one day with the word "fagpies" emblazened across it.Still remember our banner at the time telling Richmond to get their hands off our Cox Laughing

I think we should do after a ruckman in his early-mid twenties stuck behind a gun such as McIntosh at North or even someone like Pyke at Sydney.

I thought that was S & Dung. Kevin Shitty was prepared to let us keep him if we let S & Dung have a young kid called Robert Harvey.Dr Spaceman wrote:Still remember our banner at the time telling Richmond to get their hands off our CoxFurphy wrote:I thought you were talking about the player we got 31 years ago that had us (temporarily) stripped of points. The guy had a potential career at St Kilda but at S & Dung he couldn't make the senior team.
His football career was killed by the AFL and Shitty.
