It seems the Cats have remained very competitive. Even in their slightly off year in 2010. Why?

We've got no excuses. It seems we're happy enough for "nearly" or "could have been". Sadly too many St Kilda greats have been subject to this very attitude, and they've faded off into history. I thought we had a group who was bigger than this? Breaks your heart.

Some of the comments on this thread are like those posts saying player X is useless - let's trade him.

Posters claiming we should give Ross the axe cos he's not up to it; he's a one trick pony; the game's passed him by etc etc. But some other club might nonetheless make him an offer he can't refuse!
