Cripps or Polo will be the sub.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Polo probably wouldn't be getting a game if it were for Leigh's suspension. Not that I don't think he deserves it. Go Dean! Show them how good you are mate, best of luck!

Just hope Polo's debut for us is as good as the one for the tigers, heaps of possies and a bag of goals. I thought he was like Michael Voss on hormones.

Selectors pretty much got it right this week.

Gentlemen, there is a dress code being enforced this week for all areas (including standing room) of the MCG for smart casual attire. So, remember to come along to the game looking your Sunday best wearing your Dean Polo shirt with your best pair of Allan Jeans

P.S. people wearing their Polo with a pop collar will be relegated to Chapel Street.

polo doesn't sound like the right sort of sub. he's not exactly a quick, impact player - more a slogger through the middle, if i remember correctly.

cripps is the obvious sub here, mcqualter or steven otherwise.

I agree Bergholt about young Cripps as he knows where the goals are. Also I think Polo is needed as a replacement for Joey.

Glad to see Young out for them...

Bit out of form, but can be hugely damaging on his day... A bit of a barometer for them too...

Happy with the changes for both sides...

Exactly Sobraz, his left boot scares me.

I like our chances in the middle too.

Congrats to Polo.

Thought Blake would be out, he and Ralph were the first on the chopping block last time.

Perhaps Armo can rest forward too at some stage - when Polo replaces him in the middle.
Armo's good for a couple of goals .. and unlike Milne he'll receive a free kick when he gets a push in the back.

Well he has to do that for four qrs at the highest level now for a team who couldn't win a clearance even if it bought all the raffle tickets.

All the best with that.

No pressure!

Hope he goes well.

If Marco Polo is the Sub he only has to turn it on for half a game, with luck.

If it was me Polo, would play the whole game....and I would use Cripps as the Sub.

Polo has been in good form and we desperately need boosting in the contested ball winning mid department. So he is worth a try.

Nice little sneaky one there, bm. Almost got through unnoticed. Didn't pass me by. Well played. :D

So is Polo more likely to hand out a shirt front or receive one? :D

I think Cripps is lucky to get a game, so I'd given him the sub duty.
