Of the Ins, Dawson and Ray are named in the starting 18
You would think McEvoy and Jones are certain to play....depending on the weather, I reckon Cripps and Polo making up the 4
I wouldn't have thought Winmar would play, not on last week's Sandy game - all the best to him though

True, this is his first week back training isn't it?plugger66 wrote:He may have been held back last week.SainterK wrote:I reckon final will be
In Dawson Polo Winmar (sub)
Out Raph Joey Cripps (knee)
I don't reckon Farren will be back, pretty draining on the body.
I hope he is back, just wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't.
I have no idea. I dont even know what was wrong him. What ever they said was wrong probably means nothing.SainterK wrote:True, this is his first week back training isn't it?plugger66 wrote:He may have been held back last week.SainterK wrote:I reckon final will be

No Rioli back yet is good for us.
No Renouf either this week, Ben/Kosi combo might just be the stronger scenario against feathers?

Gee that's a backline we can take advantage of. Gibson will take Roo and he is very athletic but undersized, Roo will be able to get on top convincingly.SainterK wrote: B: Thomas Murphy, Stephen Gilham, Brent Guerra

Gilham will get Kosi/Macca but he isn't the world's best defender, both of those two will be able to outmark him if they're on their game.
Murphy will get Sipa, and for those who aren't familiar with Tom Murphy he's Hawthorn's whipping boy, and for good reason. His form at the back half of last year wasn't bad, but other than a solid 6 or so games he's been a defender prone to making mistakes. Similar to Raph in a way. Wouldn't be surprised if Sipa get's on top of him and jags a few goals.
Now is the time to show that we can kick goals.

I'm with your selections, Plugger.
I think we match up well on the Hawks IF WE WIN CLEARANCES!!!!!

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

How the f*** are Hawthorn $1.33 for this game?
They're just travelling and that's about it, like we have been. They've obviously won more, but apparently haven't beaten anyone who played finals last year, while we lost by under a kick to two teams that did. I sure as hell wouldn't be inclined to back them at those odds.
Us at the line could be the best bet of the weekend, especially if it's wet and likely to be a low scoring arm-wrestle. We're currently $1.90 to win, draw or get within 20 points of them, which I'm very confident of.

Interesting odds.
Obviously it was a close contest last time.
Brownlow Votes: 3: L Hodge, 2: L Hayes, 1: L Franklin
Hodge isn't travelling as he was, Hayes obviously missing, Franky was in good touch.
Franklin/Roughead kicked 8 of their 13 goals, we had one of our more even spreads.
Both sides have had big changes since, we obviously have lost Hayes and Gardi.
They are missing Rioli, Renouf, Stratton. Osborne and Hale to still pass fitness tests?
