Bumma if true....

While I am keen to see Cripps debut....ray is not one that I would want out of the team...and particularly against the rows which is very much a "must win" game.

That would be a pity bc I thought Farren played a great game last week and took some important marks when we really needed them!

Ray wasn't out of the ground for the Open Training on Tuesday, so the source might be on to something.

So Ray has injured himself I'm assuming? Coz there's no way he'd be dropped.

On the money I reckon. He did seem to be worried about his groin late in the Brisbane game after taking a mark at half back.

Let's hope Crippsy takes full advantage of his opportunity.

It will be interesting to see who the sub is

just looked like cramp at the time, but injured i guess if the op is proved right.

if this happens it'll be four debutants in six rounds - sounds like playing the kids to me! given that's what we're doing, it'd be nice if someone got close to a rising star nomination some time soon.

this also gets the average height of the side down to 186.0cm. makes it our shortest side since round 5 2007 - four years and three days ago.

potentially there's a lot of run in this midfield group, but is there enough hardness?

gram, steven, jones, montagna, (schneider), goddard, armitage, dal santo, (mcqualter), cripps, smith, (milne)

a few of these will need to channel the spirit of lenny hayes.

I am in Adelaide and earlier ran into someone from the club who hinted to me that there would be more than one debutant tonight so yes i believe it.

Mixed about this one, Ray has become very important, but looking forward to Cripps getting a run.

He may get under the guard if they are not expecting him.

So IF ray is out, it is either crippa or winmar in.
i reckon winmar might get a go over crippa.

I would say Cripps will play as Winmar hasn't played for 2 weeks.

Reckon Cripps replaced McQualter as the sub.

Rain stopped about 3 or 4 hours ago - may not be as tragically slippery as first thought - go the crippa

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Well I reckon he replaced Johnson, but it's no use speculating as we'll never know.

2 years ago, this wouldn't have mattered as it seemed anyone could come in and do the job.
