has anyone told Zac that he's playing? his failure to lay tackles or make something like a reasonable contest look like causing us some heartburn @ the gabba tonight!
He's certainly an enigma Zac. Sometimes he looks like he's barely trying, and I can see where thejiggingsaints thought process is coming from. Then again I thought his second half was much better and some of his efforts were fantastic
Geez there's some odd criticisms flying about tonight. He fought hard all night against a monster and did well!
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
Zac's going to be a champion full-back. He is already one of the best in the business from a pure spoiling point of view.
STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY.
''I still get really excited, and I've got the '66 thing up on the wall in a frame … You look at it and think: one day, we want to achieve that.''- Arryn Siposs
I'm NOT "bagging" Dawson for the sake of it. (not MY style at all) and I hope that he gets his act together, but I don't feel confident about him at all at present. Simple as that. Just my opinion. I saw nothing from him tonight to change my opinion that he's been out of form so far this year.
Bar the poster above me. Most can appreciate Dawsons form.
What makes him so versatile is his height. Can play and compete with resting ruckmen and we need not change our structure. Quick and strong. Easily our best FB and very underrated in the league.
Thought he was quite good tonight...yeah, his tackling intensity has dropped off over the last season, but he used to nail them. Perhaps, since being targeted by the umpires over the last 2 seasons (and the umpires intention to make tonight's game non-contact for the first three quarters), he's a bit wary of putting the body in?

+1. i must be a watching a different game jiggster. Zac is in our top 6 players right now. Spends most of his time saving our bacon and getting us out of trouble. One of few who stands up and makes decent decisions under real pressure.
