Lol at Dal :)
2. THE MAN IN WHITE
WITH the weekend off, St Kilda midfielder Nick Dal Santo headed to the Melbourne Town Hall on Friday night to watch UK comedian Stephen K Amos.
"Dal" was close to the front, maybe in the third row, but he had every reason to expect a low-key night as just another face in the crowd.
Trouble is, he decided to wear a tightish white t-shirt. As Stephen K scanned the crowd in search of a victim, it stood out like a buoy bobbing off the Seaford foreshore.
There was no escape. "Dal" was hauled up in front of the crowd as the comedian praised him for his muscles and wondered if he was famous.
Asked what he did for a living, "Dal" replied: "I go to uni". There were chuckles throughout as 95 per cent of the audience knew exactly who he was.
Then came the uncomfortable moment when "Dal" was asked a) how long he had been going out with his girlfriend and b) if he was in love.
Hardboiled's spies tell us the answers were A) three years ... and B) a rather sheepish "yes".
"Dal" was relieved to finally sit back in his spot without giving away that he played for the Saints.

so when an AFL player out there feels that they don't need to walk around saying "look at me I am an AFL footballer" makes people question if they are ashamed of the jumper they play in ?St Lenny wrote:Is he ashamed to say he plays for us
I think Dal wants her private life as well, doesn't feel he needs to big note himself !!
In Ross Get lost!
I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

I would have been far more surprised if he had got up and said "I'm an AFL footballer". That would have been a wank.Dal_Santos_Gal wrote:so when an AFL player out there feels that they don't need to walk around saying "look at me I am an AFL footballer" makes people question if they are ashamed of the jumper they play in ?St Lenny wrote:Is he ashamed to say he plays for us

Also, given a few people in the audience would have known who he was, his response was pretty funny IMO.

Steven K. Amos is a gay comedian and often makes lewd remarks about guys pulled from the audience. If he knew Amos he would have been aware of this and was probably trying to avoid some kind of media relations disaster to add to the list, he would have been very uncomfortable after his recent brush with the immediacy of social media. Herald sun would have still found a way to link Duthie and the "Dal's gay tryst nude scandal out when he shouldn't be" crap. Can just see the special comments from Aker now.
