Guess when we will win our first game in 2011
I think it will be Round 6 against Adelaide.
Can't see us bearing Brisbane.

Not quite, but almost, as good as your thread on how many of our draft picks would be duds.
Should we bookmark this one too?

I hope the Easter Bunny brings a win, but rather than breathe fire, what they should be doing is spending 6, no make that 10 hours a day, learning, developing and practising skills - you know - handball and kicking. Last year, Essendon's handball let them down in many games. Now, it is almost faultless. So it can be taught. Our handball is pathetic. Let's just go back to the basics rather than spend countless hours in team meetings discussing tactics. If you can handball and/or kick the ball to teammates then the game is already half won.Eastern wrote:I would expect them to be breathing fire after the cook they copped from the coach last night !!
In all seriousness- Round 9 v Melbourne, and I expect that to be our only victory before Round 14 and the next bye.
Tell me where the win is coming from otherwise?
5- Brisbane- 50/50 at the Gabba
6- Adelaide- very hard ti beat at AAMI at night
7- Carlton- will cut a swathe through our midfield and defence
8- Hawthorn- bigger bodies will kill us in the middle
9- Melbourne- if it were at the G we'd be in trouble, but they're ordinary and we should get up
10- Freo at Subi- very doubtful
11- Collingwood
12- Western Bullldogs
13- Geelong
14- Bye
A Lot easier after that
15- North
16- Port
17- West Coast
18- Adelaide at Etihad
19- Gold Coast
20- Freo at Etihad
21- Collingwood
22- Sydney
23- North
24- Carlton
I hate to say it, but we'll do well to win 8 games

What drivel are you going to write about at the end of this season to litter the home page of Saintsational?

Oh yes, we can dream indeed!Eastern wrote:Round 5 v Brisbane. I would expect them to be breathing fire after the cook they copped from the coach last night !!
Were they not breathing fire after the pathetic draw last week against the hopeless Tigers??
Clearly they are struggling to breathe ATM let alone breathe fire!
IMO Brisbane will be a bit sharper up top than us - remember they got close to beating Melbourne away from home, so they can't be completely hopeless.
All in all, looks like a very bad game coming up!

Tonight about 9.30pm should have this one wrapped up. Will be a nice night for markin the high ball and kicking 13 - 16 goals.
Rooey with 4 or 5, kosi and milney with 3 each, maybe even old Stanley will nail a couple of em, and the rest to be put through by the mids and flankers.
That should just about do it.
