Time to rebuild

Post: # 1054933Post taz »

The hunger is gone. This season is going to be very depressing. Time to rebuild, inject and blood youth and get ready to trade big time with GWS if we want to have another crack in the next 10 years

Roos or Malthouse?

I'd probably take the Liar

Roos will never coach an AFL club again, mark my words. I'd happily take Malthouse but I doubt that will happen, he is contracted with Collingwood as football manager until the end of 2014. Despite Malthouse's flaws, his main attribute is something we are completely and utterly suffering in - 1) his ability to get players to stick to HIS game plan and 2) his adaptability to all different types of on-field changes that have occurred over his time as a coach.

Happy to let Ross rebuild. Wonder if it was Lennys last game?

No way in hell. I mean I'm pretty pessimistic at the moment but he's got a few good years left, injury or no injury.

Lenny will be back. He doesn't have much pace to lose, so that won't be an issue. He's got at least 2 more after this year.

I think we need to settle down a bit.

Had we kicked straight, we would of won.

So we've lost by 1 point, and drawn.

There are some changes required, Schneider will come in, along with some youth.

Worst for me tonight was Dempster again, just couldn't hit a target, and didn't do anything damaging/good as per the usual.

Good signs was Armo was our best player, so some people on these forums need to pay attention to how he plays/goes about his game, was the only one who hit kicks to a lead beautifully, except Archers first kick was a shocker....

You win the prize for the most correct entry. 100% correct.

Ageing group, no Lenny for a long while. Hard not to think we might be in a bit of strife

13.17...without Lenny AND with zimmer frames! Maybe the latter explains our kicking???
