ANy word on Cripps?? Little shocked not named anywhere after the talk about him. Good to see that Winmar is pushing up a little, could be just the type of player we need.

Lets hope Archer and really make a good go of it. Could be one of the years better football stoires.

I would like to see Kosi come in after the break. There is no rush and it's going to be a very long season.

So I assume "Glenn" Archer will play up forward given he's as useful as tits on a bull in the ruck?

gutted.

also just poor psychology and morale. u wonder why our kids are un-motivated and not "tearing it up for sandy every week"

you have 3 coaches talking up cripps in the media. hes done everything right. we have no pace and some players under-performed yet now hes not even an emergency. disappointed for the kid.

some people will say - oh he should be motivated and harden up and all that.

bt the kids are just humans and dont need their confidence on a roller. coaster ride.

most likely ross will say hes still got the flu - but then he will play for sandy anyways.

So Archer is to be used to replace Kosi like Stanley was used to replace Roo last season. Good for Archer, but makes you wonder where the other players are at.

The sub is named when the teams are finalized about 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

Who cares what BS they say in the media, why give away selection decisions mid week?

Perhaps they are helping the kid get his illness to a manageable level?

It's new to us, and new to him.

I realise Archer is a big boy, does that mean he does not qualify as a kid?

big unit! will play FF and have a run in ruck when needed.

should make life easier for milney and gamble. good selection.

man stanley must be in the coaches bad books. what did he do? have a crack at ross wief?

I remember hearing that Stanley's VFL form so far this year has been poor. That is why he isn't getting a guernsey.

I don't consider Armo a 'kid' anymore. He may have only played 30 odd games, but he must be into his 5th year on the list and at least 22-23 by now.

Good decision imo.
We desperately need another target up forward to unload Roo.
Also archer can help Mcevoy and Blake in the ruck.
Mini will be no loss the way he is playing
