Most of the list will not be eligible to play unless given permission by the AFL.

Thanks to the vfl Twitter account stating the game started at 2pm. I am here at half time.

Behind 33 to 67.

Geary looking too good forbid level.

Paul Cahill just brought a contested mark to ground. Regathered, busted through the pack and snapped a 45 meter goal.

Zac is a certainty. Grand final teams don't change that much especially with his performances in the finals. News are kidding themselves. This is just getting run in the legs for him.

Crocker great last quarter. Plays taller than he is.

Steven didn't play.

Clarke didn't play.

Cripps played first half.

Stanley ok. Cahill good. Geary ok. Crocker good. Winmar ok.

Correct me if I am wrong, but our best today were Geary and Eddy?

Where is our improvement to come from?

From playing youngsters who don't deserve a game yet...

Or so seems is the publics opinion...

Always interesting reading peoples views of games.Thought Winmar was our best player by a mile.

Dawson zoned off and opponent did not go near him stayed back closer to goal but did what he needed to do.

Crocker I did not notice a lot as far as possessions but you can see he has something about him with his kicking and evasive ability.

Geary simply has to improve his decision making and disposal. He ran into trouble or sold team mates into trouble so often it was not funny. It is a pity as he goes hard and can win the footy.

Winmar as mentioned was superb Just looks like class was the highlight for me.

Stanley should not be selected for round one on what I have seen the last two weeks. Still very much a work in progress.

Cripps showed flashes if ability do not think he player second half.

Eddy was good down back disposal still an issue.

Cahill did some brilliant things but does nothing for about 99 percent of the game which from memory was how he was described when drafted. Has some freakish ability but then does nothing for ages.

Ferguson the other highlight for me really attacked the ball hard and provided a lot of run off half back.

Andreoli in and out of game but kicking a bit hit and miss this week.

A champion team will always beat a team of champions.

From today 2 players were clearly best. Geary got easily the most ball but sometimes kicking lets him down but the real surprise was Ferguson. Was fantastic and should only get better. Winmar was also very good. Cripps was OK but has some health issues in the second half. Cahill was poor until the last quarter. Eddy was OK but kicked poorly. Stanley was fair but he would play next week for mine. Zac was Zac. Silly mistakes but must play next week. Crocker was fair at best as was Andreoli. Harvey walked the around the ground well with his son, conner and RL may burst soon if he puts on anymore weight. Russell Holmesby has burst already.
