Paul Cahill, Raphael Clarke, Jamie Cripps, Sam Crocker, Zac Dawson, Jarryn Geary, Aaron Siposs (sic), Rhys Stanley, Jack Steven, Nick Winmar.

With Clarke's inclusion in this group it surely indicates that he has not cemented a berth in the starting 22. Is there any other reason he would be in this list?

He's missed a couple of weeks. If he's right to go give him a run.

He may not be cemented in, but his selection for Sandy in no way means he's concreted out either.

would the decision on such a list be based on an indication of where they'll play in R1 though, or would it be based on how many VFL games he played last year?

well hes certainly not cemented. youd hope there are only about 12 blokes who can consider themsleves cemented and hes not in the top 12. but probably a minutes/conditioning thing. wouldnt read anything in to it.
