Interesting read to see how the captains see it.

Surprised Hodge has been predicted as a brownlow favourite, he polled terribly last year after all the hype, and he hasn't had a preseason or even played a praccy match yet.

You'd think Goddard would be in the voting for mark of the year, and Roo would feature for the coleman (given he would of been up there had he not missed so many games going off his average)

Which seven other clubs do you think can make this year's top eight? (17 times seven selections)
Collingwood (16), St Kilda (15), Western Bulldogs (15), Geelong Cats (15), Hawthorn (14), Sydney Swans (10), Adelaide Crows (nine), Fremantle (nine), Carlton (nine), Essendon (five), West Coast (one), North Melbourne (one), Brisbane Lions (nil), Gold Coast Suns (nil), Port Adelaide (nil), Richmond (nil), Melbourne (nil).

Which other club is most likely to reach the Grand Final?
Collingwood (14), Hawthorn (two), Western Bulldogs (one).

Who do you think will win the 2011 Brownlow Medal?
Luke Hodge, Hawthorn (three), Joel Selwood, Geelong (three), Dane Swan, Collingwood (three), Scott Pendlebury, Collingwood (two), Matthew Boyd, Western Bulldogs (one), Adam Goodes, Sydney (one), Chris Judd, Carlton (one), Marc Murphy, Carlton (one), Jack Riewoldt, Richmond (one), Aaron Sandilands, Fremantle (one).

Who do you think will win the 2011 Coleman Medal?
Lance Franklin, Hawthorn (10), Barry Hall, Western Bulldogs (three), Jack Riewoldt, Richmond (two), Mark LeCras, West Coast (one), Drew Petrie, North Melbourne (one).

Who do you think will win the 2011 NAB AFL Rising Star?
David Swallow, Gold Coast (13), Shaun Atley, North Melbourne (one), Harley Bennell, Gold Coast (one), Reece Conca, Richmond (one), Dyson Heppell, Essendon (one).

Who do you think will take Mark of the Year?
Liam Jurrah, Melbourne (six), Jack Riewoldt, Richmond (three), Paddy Ryder, Essendon (two), Luke McPharlin, Fremantle (one), Nick Maxwell, Collingwood (one), Nic Naitanui, West Coast (one), Nick Riewoldt, St Kilda (one), Aaron Sandilands, Fremantle (one), Zephaniah Skinner, Western Bulldogs (one).

Who do you think will kick Goal of the Year?
Liam Jurrah, Melbourne (three), Mark LeCras, West Coast (two), Daniel Motlop, Port Adelaide (two), Cyril Rioli, Hawthorn (two), Hayden Ballantyne, Fremantle (one), Eddie Betts, Carlton (one), Alan Didak, Collingwood (one), Jeff Garlett, Carlton (one), Lewis Jetta, Sydney (one), Steve Johnson, Geelong (one), Stephen Milne, St Kilda (one), Daniel Wells, North Melbourne (one).

What the betting it was Maxwell who said St Kilda, Bulldogs and Cats won't make the eight?

What's the bet that it was Maxwell that said he'd take mark of the year

What's the best that it was Maxwell that said he'd take mark of the year
No bets allowed on that one.

What -- Goddard takes arguably the two best marks of 2010 and no captain tips him for this year's mark of this year?

how much do the captains really know?

2010 survey:

Which seven other clubs do you think can make this year's top eight?

Collingwood: 15, St Kilda: 15, Western Bulldogs: 15, Brisbane Lions: 14, Geelong: 14, Adelaide: 13, Hawthorn: 12, Port Adelaide: 5, Essendon: 2, North Melbourne: 2, Sydney: 2, West Coast: 2, Carlton: 1, Fremantle: 0, Richmond: 0, Melbourne: 0

not real great work here. sydney, freo and carlton all made it, and had 3 tips between them. on the other hand, adelaide, brisbane and port had 32 tips between them and missed out.

Which other club is most likely to reach the grand final?

St Kilda: 6, Western Bulldogs: 6, Geelong: 3, Collingwood: 1

not too bad there - got all four prelim finalists.

Who do you think will win the 2010 Brownlow Medal?

Gary Ablett, Geelong: 3, Joel Selwood, Geelong: 2, Nick Dal Santo, St Kilda: 2, Chris Judd, Carlton: 2, Simon Black, Brisbane Lions: 1, Adam Goodes, Sydney: 1, Barry Hall, Western Bulldogs: 1, Brent Harvey, North Melbourne: 1, Lenny Hayes, St Kilda: 1, Leigh Montagna, St Kilda: 1, Dane Swan, Collingwood: 1

final finish was judd, ablett, swan, pendlebury, selwood, boyd, sandilands, hayes. not too bad there either - overrated dal, underrated pendlebury.

Who do you think will win the 2010 Coleman Medal?

Brendan Fevola, Brisbane Lions: 5, Barry Hall, Western Bulldogs: 4, Lance Franklin, Hawthorn: 4, Daniel Bradshaw, Sydney: 1, Jonathan Brown, Brisbane Lions: 1, Nick Riewoldt, St Kilda: 1

no-one tipped jack riewoldt or steve johnson, and obviously fev and bradshaw didn't quite live up to expectations.

Who do you think will win the 2010 NAB AFL Rising Star?

Nic Naitanui, West Coast: 5, Jack Ziebell, North Melbourne: 5, Jack Trengove, Melbourne: 2, Ben Cunnington, North Melbourne: 1, Dustin Martin, Richmond: 1, Andrew Moore, Port Adelaide: 1, Anthony Morabito, Fremantle: 1

in fact it was hannebery, scully, rockliff, trengove, bastinac. so they only named one of the top five. pretty poor.
