How dissapointed will the AFL be

Post: # 1045269Post saintbrat »

if it's an Essendon /Eagles final?

or will they be more extatic if it's a Hird vs Pies final

having seemingly set up a grand final replay?

provided a 'weakened' Pies team can cope with their Travel

I hope it's what they get!!!

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Yeah.

Not concerned about the result v Essendon. Just as long as the guys get a good hit-out and there's no injuries.

Australia...... Live it like we stole it....... Because we did.

Not interested in NAB Flags at all tbh.

Play kids, practice, game time, no injuries, practice structure. That is all.

We win it it alleviates no pain, infact it just brings back horrific memories, and people will say "can't do it in the real one".

We lose it we give even more ammo to the masses being our 5th shot at a title in 18 months.....it's a loss loss situation if we win tommorrow night, apart from bursting Essendons pre jizz filled bubble

only beating the monochromes has any value .... but bring it ON.

This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

Absolute rubbish.

16 of the 23 pre-season premiers have made the finals, and the last 6 pre-season Grand Finalists all finished top 5 at the end of that home and away season.

Take out 3 Carlton wins in 97, 05 and 07 and the lowest finish for a premier is our 10th in 96.

The charm of the competition is that underdogs can win it, it would be good for footy if it were a West Coast-Essendon Grand Final

We are in it. Hopefully we win. Why would we want to play interstate or even GWS if we lose. Better to play the pies or WCE in pretty much a real game.

2008 - St.Kilda beat Adelaide. Finished 4th & 7th.
