quick summary
Pros
IMHO lynch and armo looked like they are the only youngsters ready for regular senior AFL footy right here right now.
The Tommy Walsh experiment is alive and well and on track.
Raph looking fit.
All our 2010 draft picks showed something positive for the future. Ledger the real surprise packet for me. Lively, speedy and loved getting amongst it. Some nice tackles and showed some speed and good decision making. I totally didnt see that coming.
Archer, Simpkin and Winmar showed they are worth persisting with for medium term. Showed some good things.
Gamble is handy enough.
Dal looks fit as
Cons
Mcqualter still not getting enough ball.
Big Mac is really good but a tad lumbering. No vertical leap to speak of.
Im not convinced by Al Smith. Does some good things but then undoes them. Not sure where hes at really.

Gee -- I really liked the look of Ledger. He might have rushed his disposals: it was his first game for Christ sake! The fact that he got them, and looked so pacy and hard at it and resourceful while getting them is what excited me.
Crockers left foot looks fantastic. I was watching him at warm-up before the game, and from a standing start on the 50m line, he almost put one up in the second tier behind the goals.
