Moving Forward- GO SAINTS
an injury I sustained during the First Grand final in 2010 has finally healed and the last unknown - how the team will rebound will be answered somewhat tomorrow night when they again run out in the Red White and Black onto a field of play.
I can't wait for the first bounce and first goal either way- and then for the REBOUND- over the last few years I have gone from the uncertainty of thinking "Oh golly we're behind" to a more secure- 'I know they can fight back" and scrap tooth and nail and Goddard mark or Hayes goal to get us moving- or for a Milne Fist pump to the crowd....
and now I look forward to the exhubarance of young men over the next few weeks giving us a glimpse of the support the 'mature' players will have. Fresh young fit players working hard to get their place ....
Giving it their best shot ( and maybe just a liitle bit more) is all I ask
with the Club continuing to give them the best support they can- on field and off.

Yes, same here. BUT they are giving it a go chook, they are giving us something - as a group. They put themselves up there and have a crack. I can never ask for more than that.chook23 wrote:You are a fast healer
but I note you don't reference the 2nd GF
or the 09
I must be a bad healer
have to win one for me
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

The scars of being a sainter are deep at the moment and will continue until we win one.....
climbing the hill to have another crack will be hard for everyone......
the whole club will be tested.
Seems unreal that in the eighties (part of) a good quarter made you feel good!!
