Good news, happy for these two promising young players (and great stories) to be tested at senior level.

From memory he only played in the intra-club.

Pretty sure it was just in the intra-club.

Pretty sure Cripps is a certainty and Crocker is a very chance also.

Article on the AFL website quotes Ross saying Walsh, Daniel Archer - who would be debuting too - and Jason Blake will be sharing ruck duties - Gardier, Kosi, Riewoldt and Gilbert aren't playing.

Mentioned Tommy Lynch and Alistair Smith will be playing.

That's good news, I've got a good feeling that the club has a good feeling about Winmar :)

I expected Kosi Gardiner wouldn't play, makes sense to preserve Roo a bit, but whats wrong with Gilbert?

Tommy didn't play last years NAB cup, if you remember the intra club, he wasn't quite ready

yeah even though its just nab cup, i think ross is finally admiting that mobile ruckman and having a ruckman playing forward/back when not rucking is good idea, i kosi is injury free he should have a good season

It was mentioned he had 'tight' hamstrings. Set him back a week or so. Not taking any risks as an important player.

I'd be surprised if Simpkin don't get a crack?
And I can't wait to see Walshy run out in the colours for the first time!

Ross mentioned giving Tommy W a run in the ruck. So far he's been touted as full forward, full back, half back flank and ruck. Should be interesting where he settles.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

i get the feel Ross would rather not play the two games on one night thing so ill expect us to jog out the second game

I dont see the difference in our 2 games and one normal one. Its 4 quarters with a half time break.
