Nick Winmar?
One year on... haven't heard much about his performance. How close is he to getting a game or two? Interestingly, RL has in the past mentioned Jamie Cripps.. but no mention of him.

nick is alot skinnier then Cripps ... Winmar was alwasy going to be a longer term prospect as he grows into his body where as Cripps is a ready made player he has the natural size to play round one ....
Winmar will play for the saints maybe later in the year but i dont think we will see him regularly lining up for the saints in 2011

I think Winmar is buit a lot bigger than Cripps at the moment. The only problem with his body is injury not size. The main issue however is fitness. Lacks running out games at the moment.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:nick is alot skinnier then Cripps ... Nick is taller but for his projected size he is still needed to grow into it some more ... Cripps is pretty much as big as he is going to get not much more growing neededplugger66 wrote:I think Winmar is buit a lot bigger than Cripps at the moment. Not sure where that comes from. Cripps is about 77kgs. I would hope he gets bigger than that. Winmar is closer to 86kgs so I dont think he is getting much bigger.

I think if Paul Cahill can get a third year then our first draft pick from 2009, cut down in his first year by injuries not uncommon in young players, will most definitely be with us in 2012 (and most likely beyond)Con Gorozidis wrote:please provide more info? weird call.GrumpyOne wrote:Second player delisted at end of 2011.
i have never seen him play outside the youtube vids but he has very athletic physique and more importantly can kick. way too early to call it. lets wait until hes 21 before we judge.

Love him to succeed...... but a rumour I have heard is that his condition may be degenerative, as per Jesse Smith.PJ wrote:Wow not much love there. What do you base that on?Second player delisted at end of 2011.
Only a rumour..... from a Collingwood Physio..... so may not be accurate.
BTW..... Cahill will be first. Only retained this year because of problems with our talls.
Australia...... Live it like we stole it....... Because we did.

No chance & how the f*** would a Collingwood physio know the sensitive medical information from our club? It's not like medicos just swap the dirt on players at random.GrumpyOne wrote: Only a rumour..... from a Collingwood Physio..... so may not be accurate.
.
He had several injury concerns last year - so it was deemed that towards the end of the year they would write off his season & thus allow him to get his body right & attack the 2011 campaign with full vigour, which he has. Body development has come along well.
