That was a big storm
Morning people.
Just went through a cyclone.
Probably one of the biggest experiences of mine and my young family,s life.
Glad to be 2 hours from the eye but holy crap.

UPDATE 9.51pm: ONE of the two men feared missing in Cardwell has been found, but concerns remain for a man who was last seen in a yacht on the town's bay last night.
A North Queensland police spokeswoman said a family member in Canada was worried about the man, who had called them from a yacht out on the bay before the category five Cyclone Yasi hit.
The man told his family he was attempting to move his yacht into the mangroves for safety, but has not been heard from since.
Police are still trying to establish whether he is missing, the spokeswoman said.
"It's a little bit of a 'not sure if they're missing or not','' she said.
"Tomorrow we will do an aerial survey of the mangroves to see if the yacht is in that location.
"Unfortunately we're not going to be able to get there any sooner, due to the current weather conditions.''

I blame Fevola.DWOODROW wrote:They reckon we had an equivalent category 2 in Townsville City.
We live in an acreage area and if that was a cat 2 then I can't believe no one is dead.
I'm having some beers to celebrate coming through. Can't believe no one was killed in tully or Cardwell.
Qld has done something wrong this year.
Any word from Cairnsman!?!?!?
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
