Good Luck Kosi and Alicia

Post: # 1034436Post saintbrat »

Kosi’s perfect timing

ST KILDA flew to New Zealand yesterday for an intensive week of training in Queenstown as the Saints continue to build up to another crack at that elusive premiership. After coming so close for the past two years, timing is everything, and important ruckman/forward Justin Koschitzke is hoping the news he has on the home front is a pointer to the team getting its timing absolutely spot on in 2011. The 28-year-old’s long-time partner Alicia Hampton is expecting the couple’s first child on April 16 – a Saturday, and the weekend the Saints have the first of their two byes for the season! ‘‘You can’t tell me I can’t plan things,’’ he said with a laugh when revealing the date he is due to become a dad. ‘‘Kosi’’, who had his troublesome ankle ‘‘screwed and pinned’’ in an operation the week after last year’s grand final replay, upped his training loads earlier this month and is aiming to be ready for round one on March 25.

I'm almost certain Kosi's role will be varied this year. Hope he gets more running jobs around the field.

Well done big fella plenty of sleepless nights ahead - after children nothing is the same ever again, and all for the better.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Great news, really happy for Kosi.

It's not too late, 2011, the year of the Kos!

Oh that's really nice news, I was just thinking the other day we don't have many footy 'dads' at St Kilda at the moment....so he joins Milne, Schneider....I think that's all?

Oh I didn't know Peake was a dad....there you go. They might start a trend of settling down and producing father sons :)

We really need Lenny to reproduce. Be a shame for his footballing genes to go to waste.

Lenny needs a harem. A dozen Hayes' running around in the red, white & black in 20 years? Yes please!

‘‘screwed and pinned’’
Applicable to his ankle and imminent fatherhood?
