Taking the captaincy off Roo at this moment would be a monumental mistake. The perception would be that he is not up to it and he would lose face publically.
Lenny is worthy of the captaincy no question but not at the expense of Riewoldt.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

The difference between Lenny and Roo in my view is that Lenny is a born leader whereas Roo learnt to be a leader.PJ wrote:Taking the captaincy off Roo at this moment would be a monumental mistake. The perception would be that he is not up to it and he would lose face publically.

Both to share the captaincy? Though that's probably what they're already doing, with Lenny being vice.
Bad management is bad management
You cant be sad if it means him furthering a career post-playing.saintbrat wrote:lenny's going no where as a Player

Its generally accepted that players have to leave the Club they servedwith distinction to forge a coaching career, at least in the short-term
Ifd he chose to start that career, Id wish him well excelt when they play us of course lol
Some come back, some dont. Its just footy in the 21st Century

Im not 100% sure if he was always like this, but since Sheedy became the coach of team GWS he's just behaved like an absolute tool. He's like a conniving, senile b@stard who in no way, shape or form demands respect.
I hope and believe he will have a dismal record as coach of GWS, if the whole thing isn't just a publicity stunt.
